Guddu Ki Gun Hindi Movie Review, Rating, Storyplot – Kunal Khemu, Payal Sarkar
Artists Performance: Kunal Khemu delivered his best to satisfy his role in this film. The movie has received the negative feedback in comparison to the above two bollywood movies in its first day from various critics and audience. However directors Sheershak Anand and Shantanu Ray Chhibber make that look like an easy task. The debutante Payel Sarkar who plays the disfigured “Kaali”, too has done quite a good job considering the fact that this is her debut bollywood film. In a few situation, though his expressions were not up to the mark, he managed to perform well. You may not enter the cinema halls to watch him, but you would surely leave hoping to see him again in more of such fantastic and hilarious roles.
Guddu (Kunal Kemmu) is washing powder salesman in Kolkata. After ultimately finding out about the Godman who cast this curse on him, Guddu confronts the Godman and asks him to take his curse back which the godman refuses to oblige. Well, as silly as it sounds, Guddu has a golden gun. In the meanwhile, as the news of his golden gun spreads the city, he is being chased by a reporter who wants his big story and two husbands whose wives Guddu slept with, seeking the gold for money.
Because of his gold penis he is getting attention of everybody and he will be also falling in trouble for this. The movie “Main Aur Charles” opened to 8% occupancy despite of many decent reviews.
The responsibility of the production is holding by the banner of Emenox Media Pvt. Does Guddu find his true love, will he ever be able to rid himself of this curse and what ultimately happens to “Guddu Ki Gun” is what forms the reminder of the story.
Titli and Guddu Ki Gun was observed with much better feedback than Main Aur Charles. Not promoted well, the movie may well become a coming-of-age comic caper or a dud with further demeaning Kunal Kemmu’s career.
Music of the film is a letdown as none of the songs are very special neither do any manage to stand out in any respect.
Guddu Ki Gun is laughable in parts only if you promise to apply no brains all through it. I am going with a 2.5/5 for this adult comedy.
