Guy Ritchie and Madonna lawyer up for custody battle
Apparently, it is not the case in that Rocco does not want to go on tour with his mother (like he did for 2 many months last autumn as part of her Rebel Heart shows), it is in that he does not want to live with her at all. Page Six reports that Madonna took matters to a Manhattan Civil Supreme Court judge after Rocco refused to return to New York City for the holidays.
Sources told the publication that Rocco believes Madonna is “too controlling” and “doesn’t pay him any real attention”.
Madonna is now exhausting all measures so her son, Rocco Ritchie, will return to the U.S. after spending the vacation with dad, Guy Ritchie, in London.
But Rocco is not the only one battling Madonna. Much like his dad, Rocco feels that home life in London is a far more stable environment for him, and when it comes right down to it, he just doesn’t want to live with Madonna anymore.
The Material Girl singer has posted a number of cryptic posts on Instagram, with her most recent one saying: ” ‘One way of measuring the strength of an attacker is by looking at the sort of opponents he needs.
TMZ are now reporting that Guy and Rocco are showing a united front, have hired a lawyer, and “plan to wage a custody war”.
Us Weekly reached out to Ritchie’s rep for comment.
In an effort to make peace, the 57-year-old gave Rocco a shout-out during her Christmas celebration with her other children Lourdes, Mercy and David.
Madonna’s 15-year-old son has reportedly blocked her from following him on Instagram, it has been reported.
The 15-year-old star’s relationship with his mother is said to be intensely strained at the moment, following allegations he has blocked her from viewing his Instagram profile. Madonna is now taking the approach that Guy Ritchie is interfering with Rocco’s education, but Rocco says that being dragged on tour with Madonna is throwing a wrench in his education.
But that could all change, since the former flames are going to court in February to discuss Rocco’s custody.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Rocco should be able to stay in London with Guy?
