Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Have Trouble Singing ‘Hotline Bling’ on ‘The
It looks like The Voice 2015 coaches (Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams) were out promoting the Voice Knockouts last night, as they appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and they played a few Spin the Microphone!
Early this month, it has been confirmed that Aguilera will be joining Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams in the reality competition.
While Mike Tyson was butchering the lyrics to “Hotline Bling”, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were doing what could have been Drake’s first number one solo single the right way.
Reluctantly hitting the stage, Shelton just kept yelling “bling” into the microphone as Stefani sang the track.
While Shelton didn’t shine during his duet, he did bring down the house with his rendition of The Village People’s classic tune, “Y-M-C-A”.
With Levine tasked to rock Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again”.
“‘The Voice’ producers obviously encourage a few flirting and banter between the judges – it makes for good TV”. Stefani even posted a photo of her with Shelton on social media recently. At the end of the song, she added in the word “cowboy”.
In the ballad, Stefani talked about her divorce with Rossdale.
While fans are really excited to see Christina Aguilera return to “The Voice” next season, the TV show’s staff are not as elated to see her come back.
