Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale are divorcing
As Radar reported, Stefani filed Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting joint legal and physical custody.
Gavin Rossdale, left, and Gwen Stefani have filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage.
Just days after Ben Affleck’s nanny scandal exploded, RadarOnline.com can reveal that a babysitter is behind Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s split too!
However, the couple are said to have no pre-nuptial agreement, meaning they are likely to split their $115 million fortune equally between them as a result of community property laws in California.
The No Doubt frontwoman has been married to fellow singer Rossdale for nearly 13 years and they have three sons together, the youngest of whom is aged one. Both parties are seeking joint custody of their three boys. It’s good to have those days when we both do our own things.
In March, Stefani told Cosmopolitan that it was “a miracle”, the couple had stayed together as long as they have.
Gwen also admitted to Ryan Seacrest last year that her hit song “Baby Don’t Lie“, was partly autobiographical.
Rossdale is the lead singer of the band Bush.
Meanwhile, in Rolling Stone, Rossdale was offering somewhat backhanded praise of his union with Stefani that hinted he had become the couple’s Art Garfunkel – and resented it. As RS put it: “Stefani … keeps him humble with her various stratospheric successes”. The band disbanded in 2002 but reunited in 2010 and have been active ever since.
