Gwen Stefani Performs “Used to Love You” at American Music Awards
An unnamed source told TV3: “It’s very likely they will be together for a few parts of it, but Gwen still wants to have the holidays as normal as possible because of her kids”.
“Used to Love You” is widely believed to be about Stefani’s ex Gavin Rossdale and in a recent interview with KIIS-FM radio the singer basically confirmed this to host JoJo Wright.
Blake Shelton was noticeably absent from Sunday’s American Music Awards, but he was there in spirit. I’m having a lot of fun”, the mother of three boys continued, “It’s like a whole new life, a whole new chapter.
“Wow! You’re so awesome”, she responded.
Shelton announced his divorce from Miranda Lambert in July while Stefani didn’t finalize her divorce from Gavin Rossdale until October.
The antics of his three sons with estranged wife Gwen Stefani- Kingston, 9 1/2; Zuma, 7, and their baby brother Apollo, 20 months, keep him busier than ever. Blake followed up to show his pride in his girlfriend.
Gwen also stunned on the red carpet with her startlingly stunning outfit. However, prior to her performance, Stefani slipped into a sexy black dress with cutouts, going from that retro hairdo to sleek and slick.
It is no secret that both Shelton and Stefani have been through a heart-breaking summer, marred further by their respective divorces. We just hope the love lasts with Blake Shelton because Gwen has obviously fallen so hard that she can’t go a minute without her new man.
She was later joined by a group of back-up dancers, as reported by Billboard, and the AMAs show was the most touching performance she’d given of the track since she’d debuted it at a private event for select MasterCard holders. Definitely a matter of interest to their audience, since they make a good couple – at least in pics.
