Gwen Stefani Releases Second Single from New Album
Sure, Christina Aguilera will be returning in the rotating red seat as a coach, but Gwen Stefani will apparently be back also and this time around, she will be the team adviser of her fellow coach and beau, Blake Shelton, amid the battle rounds.
The former No Doubt frontwoman even croons, “Oh God, thank God I found you” during the bridge.
American singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani just released a new single, “Make Me Like You”, on her YouTube channel as well as digital music platforms like Apple Music and Spotify on Friday (12/02). “But my heart was still mine”, Stefani sings. It was called “Make Me Like You” and we couldn’t believe it like how did we write this song? “I’m so mad at you ’cause now you got me missing you”, the song does hint at a new love interest, which could only be Shelton. And the lyrics seem to point directly to a romantic savior: “Yeah this is a feeling I’m not used to / Why’d you have to go and make me like you?”.
Cute couple: The pop star and the country crooner got together after their respective marriage splits. Stefani will perform the song at the Grammys on Monday, during a four-minute commercial break that will make for the first-ever music video created on live TV. There are 12 songs, with an additional four on the deluxe Target exclusive edition.
The 46-year-old returned the compliment, saying that Shelton is “really good at what he does” and that it was fun to work with him on the show.
“I really like you, but I’m so scared”.
