Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Is Coming To Xbox One This September
Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red is spinning off Gwent, the in-game card battler, into its own game, the studio announced today during Microsoft’s E3 2016 press briefing.
It is slated to feature a full campaign, as well as cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows. The game will be a Standalone multiplayer experience with Crossplay features that will allow gamers to connect with people from all around the world. Players play their cards on a three-lane board that covers melee, ranged and siege attackers, with each position and card providing different benefits. It seems that the game has been popular among fans, so CD Projekt has made a decision to spin it off as a standalone game.
