H&M staying closed, Target to open up for Thanksgiving shoppers
Black Friday is one of the most profitable days of the year for retailers across the country.
The two-month November and December shopping period is a crucial time for retailers because it accounts on average for 20 percent of the retail industry’s annual sales.
Leading retailers-including Walmart, Target and Kohl’s-are heading into the holiday with strategies that increasingly stress ec-ommerce spread over the Thanksgiving weekend rather than instore insanity on Black Friday.
Avid Target shoppers will be glad to know that Black Friday has come early for their favorite retail store.
Amazon Prime members will be able to purchase a few of the deals 30 minutes earlier than non-members. The Smart LED TV will be available for the customers during the Black Friday sale for a price of $125.
Historically, stores have closed on Thanksgiving Day to allow their employees time to enjoy the holiday and be with family. Offline, consumers must wait until 8 am on Black Friday. Although, it is not certain if Apple shall be providing any iTunes gift card just like last year’s in-store purchase scheme, but other third parties are sure to have something up the sleeve.
JC Penney has not yet announced what its holiday hours will be.

Left and right companies keep on releasing their Black Friday ads and now it seems Target is in on the action.
They will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday for another round of holiday promotions, closing at 10 p.m. Stores will remain open until 2 a.m., then close for three hours before reopening at 5 a.m.
