Hadar Buchriss, 21, stabbed to death by terrorist in West Bank
On Sunday, a Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces after he stabbed to death a 21-year-old Israeli woman near the illegal Israeli settlement bloc of Gush Etzion.
She could not provide further details about how long the restrictions would last.
A Ma’an journalist, who was present in the area, said he witnessed dozens of Israeli soldiers rushing to the hitchhike station at the Gush Etzion junction, firing gunshots.
Earlier in the day, an armed Palestinian woman attempted to stab an Israeli near the town of Nablus before being run over and shot.
“I was at the hitchhiking stop picking up passengers, when all of a sudden I saw a big woman chasing after another woman wielding a knife”.
No Israelis were reported as injured in the first two alleged attacks. She was waiting for a ride from the Gush Etzion district towards Kiryat Arba when she was attacked.
More than 90.000 illegal Israeli settlers live in the Gush Etzion illegal settlement bloc.
Israel Defense Forces soldiers have begun checking all Palestinian vehicles on roads used by Israelis in the Hebron and Bethlehem areas, as well as carrying out random inspections on vehicles in other parts of the West Bank.
The Israeli victim, identified as 21-year-old Hadar Buchrus, was evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem where she was pronounced dead.
