Half Ends With Big Broncos Sack

Finally, the day is here.

Even Denver’s scuffling offense managed to punch it into the end zone from there – albeit after a holding penalty on third down on Panthers cornerback Josh Miller provided a new set of downs. The Denver Broncos led by quarterback Peyton Manning looked finished right out of the gate.

Anything can happen. Remember, the Broncos have the number one ranked defense in the NFL.

Manning isn’t the first quarterback in Bronco history to try and do this, and that’s no coincidence. The Broncos defense hasn’t faced a QB like Newton this season, but of course, Newton hasn’t come across a defense like Denver’s.

“I’ll take some time to reflect”, he said. Both teams are good against the run, but the Broncos are better.

He couldn’t be at the ceremony because of the Super Bowl, but he recorded a video message thanking the Panthers, his fans, and family and friends.

Peyton Manning struggled at times, and the Broncos failed to score an offensive touchdown until only 3:08 remained in the game. “He’s a tremendous athlete that they’ve molded their offense around, and it’s shown up in how they play”. Notice something different about the name this year?

After a stellar high-school career in his native Cincinnati, Kuechly played three years at Boston College, leading the Eagles to two bowl appearances.
