Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Face Off in Court over Child Support

Halle Berry and her ex and baby daddy Gabriel Aubry are facing off in court today over child support payments as stated by a Tuesday, July 14 report from TMZ.

The X-Men star filed papers in October, objecting to the $16,000 she now pays Aubry each month to care for their daughter Nahla, amid allegations the French Canadian model has been using the money to fund his lifestyle after giving up work.

The former couple currently have joint custody of the seven-year-old.

Berry’s child support trial begins this morning. She moreover accused him of spending most of the cash on his own needs, in addition to $700 on fitness, just short of $1,000 on clothing and almost $2,000 on vehicle expenses amongst others.

Aubry has been a successful model, but says he lost a lot of work after Halle’s then-fiance/now husband, Olivier Martinez, injured his face in a beatdown. They split in 2010 and have been fighting over everything from money to straightening their daughter’s hair.

Here’s hoping Halle Berry was able to pick up a card for Olivier Martinez to mark their second wedding anniversary.

“Wow, two years. That’s big for me”, Halle quipped.
