Halo 5: Forge is Coming to Windows 10 in September
Halo 5 players on Xbox One have used Forge mode to create some incredible maps. This will let gamers create custom matches for up to 16 participants, and with the Windows 10 support for keyboard and mouse use, players can accurately manipulate objects within the map.
For those not familiar with this product, Halo 5: Forge is basically a map maker for Halo 5: Guardians for Xbox One, a way for enthusiasts to create new levels for the game.
A look at the “Halo 5” Forge editor for Windows 10 PCs. Weapon customisation options are also expected to arrive, with Microsoft poised to reveal more over the coming days.
While Microsoft might not be ready to bring the main-line of Halo games back to the PC just yet, they are throwing us a little taste of the game on PC in the form of the multiplayer Forge mode. The updates also add new weapons, new pas and new customization features to the Xbox One game. Mercy will be a competitive Arena battlefield, while Temple is a desert landscape for Warzone Assault modes. As always, there’ll also be new weapons and REQs, include sound dampener attachments and weapon and armor skins.

In a post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries has announced a new Halo experience coming to Windows 10.
While “Anvil’s Legacy”, according to a report from Dual Shockers, will allow players to browse content from “Forge”, with support from custom game maps. After finalizing their edits, mapmakers can then share their creations via a new cross-platform content browser that will debut alongside Forge’s Windows 10 port.
