Hammers linked with move for Chelsea winger Moses
West Ham are looking at moves for Victor Moses and Joey Barton as the transfer window enters its final seven days, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.
If that deal falls through West Ham are likely to ask Tottenham about signing Aaron Lennon on loan while Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj could also be an option.
The winger has been sent out on loan by Chelsea during the previous two seasons.
Moses scored four goals in 23 appearances on loan at Stoke last season, but has returned to Stamford Bridge to find his first team opportunities further restricted by the arrival of Pedro from Barcelona. Moses is known to have the ability to play on either wing or as a striker, and his versatility would be openly welcomed to a Villa squad always facing injury crises.
The 2013/14 campaign was spent with Liverpool as the Reds nearly won the league title and finished one place above Chelsea, while he also underwent a temporary stay at the Britannia Stadium with Stoke City. There is no rumored set price tag, but a figure in the £5 million to £10 million range seems to make sense.
