Handsome weather on the way for the weekend
However, a storm several hundred miles to the south is already providing signs that it’ll come north – in the form of high clouds.
Another pleasant day ahead, as Pope Francis continues his itinerary Friday in the Big Apple, with mostly sunny skies and highs near 74 degrees, forecasters say.
With an easterly wind tomorrow temperatures will reach into the mid and upper 70s. Highs will again be in the upper 70s East River to the upper 80s in the west. Temperatures will be in the lower-70s. We’ll see mainly clear skies and comfortable temperatures for any outdoor plans.
Although we’re not breaking any records, our afternoon highs are definitely running a little warmer than they should be for this time of the year.
Clouds will be on the increase & eventually drop some isolated rain showers across northwest Montana by Saturday afternoon. There will be clouds Sunday night but if we manage to see a few breaks and find a patch of clear sky you may want to watch the full lunar eclipse of the blood moon. It won’t be a washout to start the new workweek, but clouds will dominate the day. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and sunshine is expected to return for Thursday.
