Happy 40th birthday, ‘Good Morning America!’
The “40 for 40” live stream will feature an interview with the Hunger Games cast, a special performance by One Direction and other special guests, including numerous people who have worked on Good Morning America over its forty year history.
ABC News’ popular morning program, “Good Morning America”, is anchored by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. The hosts reminisced, with Charles Gibson recalling how he felt going to work on September 12, 2001, following the terrorist attacks, knowing that it would be the most important broadcast of his career. Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos anchors a politics-filled hour featuring updates from Paris, the latest from the presidential campaign trail, a special edition of the powerhouse roundtable and many surprise guests. Viewers will also see live rehearsals from “Dancing With the Stars” as competitors prepare for the season’s finale, as well as a live stream from the red carpet of the premiere of the Netflix original series “Marvel’s Jessica Jones”.

In addition to Hartman, Lunden, Sawyer and Gibson, the reunion of former “GMA” stars is expected to include Sam Champion, Nancy Dussault, Sandy Hill, Kevin Newman, Lisa Mcree, Steve Bell, Kathleen Sullivan, Mike Schneider, Morton Dean, Elizabeth Vargas, Antonio Mora, Josh Elliott, Juju Chang, John Coleman, Spencer Christian, Mike Barz, Dr. Tim Johnson and Dr. Nancy Snyderman.
The GMA 4040 Express Bus made pit stops in Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, along with Cleveland.
