Happy Birthday? Khloe Is Paying For All Of Lamar’s Medical Bills

Today, Lamar Odom celebrates his 35th birthday at a location he couldn’t have envisioned a few months ago – his hospital bed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Then Khloé will be with him for the rest of the day, ‘ the source said.

Odom’s aunt, JaNean Mercer, also released a statement marking the occasion.

Reports about Kardashian using Odom’s health crisis as a ticket to more fame also surfaced.

Kardashian called off the couple’s pending divorce shortly after the incident but is still dating National Basketball Association star James Harden, 26, a shooting guard on the Houston Rockets, a source previously told The News.

In addition Lamar is said to have been led to believe that his estranged wife has taken credit for his miraculous recovery after a series of strokes – related to his drug overdose – and blocked members of his family and inner circle of friends from visiting him in the hospital.

While members of Khloe Kardashian’s family are expected to pay Odom a visit on his birthday, his two children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, Destiny and Lamar Jr., will not be flying to Los Angeles, as they are now enrolled in school in New York. He was originally receiving medical help at the Sunrise Hospital in Nevada where he spent several days in a coma, but after waking up and becoming stable, he was later transported to a Los Angeles hospital.

Meanwhile, the insider tells us that Lamar’s recovery is going slow, but he’s doing OK. Every day he is relearning how to do more with his motor skills.

Kim and Kris, who will be celebrating her 60th at a lavish Gatsby-themed party on Friday night, were both seen arriving at the hospital on Friday to pay a visit.

He is said to have had multiple strokes, and Nye County Sheriff’s Department stated that cocaine was found in his system.
