Hawaii vs. Wisconsin: Betting odds, point spread and tv streaming
The Rainbow Warriors will come to Camp Randall Stadium for a rare night game kicking off at 7:00 p.m.
Wisconsin can expect a challenge when it hosts Hawaii on Saturday in its final non-conference tuneup before the rigors of Big Ten play begin. Hawaii defense had respectable effort in helping to keep the team in the game until late in second half of 38-0 loss at Ohio State two weeks ago.
Will Wisconsin be able to cover the spread and move up the rankings by disposing of Hawaii. Ogunbowale has rushed for 196 yards on 33 carries, an average of 5.9 yards a carry with two touchdowns this season. Either way Joel Stave had another solid performance, going 13-of-17 for 202 yards and one touchdown. Deal has 143 yards on 36 carries, an average of 4.0 yards per carry with two touchdowns. Now it’s the Max Wittek show, a Connecticut native who has completed just 50 percent of his passes for 541 yards, five touchdowns to four interceptions.
At the same time, the defense hasn’t allowed a TD since the Alabama game.
Play 16 that completed the statement-maker was a 2-yard run by back Deal with 4:27 left in the opening quarter. Schobert leads the Big Ten with 7 1/2 tackles for losses.
ON THE OUTSIDE: The Badgers’ other defensive strength is at outside linebacker, where Joe Schobert and Vince Biegel have been forces off the edge. That turnover after a long Troy drive switched momentum in a 14-3 game back to Wisconsin, with redshirt senior Tanner McEvoy finding the end zone on a 32-yard run to put the proverbial dagger into the Trojans.
The Warriors already secured two wins; a goal most followers of the program believed was a must at this point of the season if bowl hopes are to be realized. He looks like a completely different quarterback this season and that is great news for the Badgers. And will Wittek and the Warriors’ offense try to target the converted wide receiver in Jamerson?
