HD forecast: Sunshine continues into the weekend

However, a cold front will approach from the west and we will see some afternoon and evening thunderstorms develop and some could have some heavy downpours.

Temperatures will quickly rebound back to near triple digits over the Southeastern Plains while the rest of the state continues to stay above average in the 80s and 90s.

Sunday should start out mostly sunny in the morning but then increasing clouds and some scattered thunderstorms are likely later in the day. High temperatures in the mid 80s.

Monday through Thursday cools down to the mid-80s and dries out.

The best chance for rain is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

We are starting out with cloud cover, but rain stays mainly south of Memphis into North Mississippi at about 20%.

Highs will again be above normal, around 26°C.

Look for cloudy skies with patchy fog Sunday night into early Monday. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
