Heat advisory issued as heat indexes top 100 in Oklahoma

Thursday will begin cloudy early and see an increasing chance of showers by late afternoon into the evening hours. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the high will be near 90. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Temperatures falling into the lower 70s this evening.
Forecasters say afternoon heat index values between 110 and 113 degrees will develop Wednesday afternoon.
