Heisman vote: Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Deshaun Watson await

McCaffrey became the fourth Stanford player to finish second in Heisman voting, joining John Elway (behind Herschel Walker in 1982), Toby Gerhart (behind Mark Ingram in 2009) and Andrew Luck (behind Cam Newton in 2010 and Robert Griffin III in 2011).

In just his second year with the Clemson Tigers, Watson was one of three finalists to receive an invite to NY, but he’ll have to wait another year to try to take home college football’s most prestigious award – and now he can turn his focus to getting his undefeated Tigers their first national championship in 34 years.
