Helldivers is coming to Steam next month

Helldivers offers multiplayer co-op for up to four players, locally or online through Steam, with procedurally generated levels and non-linear missions.

In a rather surprising turn of events, the Playstation exclusive Helldivers will now be making its way to Steam sometime in December.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Arrowhead Game Studios is an award-winning game development company passionate about the idea that games should challenge the creativity of the individuals that play them.

“We are thrilled to be releasing Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back on PC – our fourth game so far – and for the platform which we first started developing games on”. All included expansions add new enemy types, weapons, and environments for players to explore. Additional DLC will be made available for purchase.

A physical version of Helldivers was released for PS4 earlier this year, which is available as a physical and digital release. The series shifted to a different development team for Magicka 2, which is now featured as one of this month’s free PlayStation Plus titles.

Unfortunately no specific launch date has been announced as yet or pricing but you can expect this to be released very soon.
