Help find this 8-year-old missing from Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz Police Department is asking for help Sunday night to find a missing 8-year-old girl.

The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports she was visiting her mother, who lives there.

Madyson Middleton, 8, is seen in a photo provided by the Santa Cruz Police Department.

Madison Middleton was last seen at about 4 p.m.at 1030 River St. Middleton is 4 feet tall and 48 pounds and goes by Maddy, a dispatcher said.

Police the state Office of Emergency Services are searching the woodland and park areas around the arts center and the river levee.

Anyone with information about Maddy is being asked to call 911 or police, police said.

‘We will be working around the clock following up on all leads, ‘ Blaschke said. They are crucial to assist in locating the missing child as soon as possible.’.

She was last seen riding her Razor Scooter and wearing a purple dress with black leggings, black flip-flops and a black helmet.
