Here are the prices for Destiny’s new in-game currency ‘Silver’
The good news is that after the wait fans of Destiny: The Taken King will see the grand opening of the Eververse Trading Company, which will add microtransactions and new weapon balancing. Players will have already received a message about the game world going offline so if you’re raiding and ignored it, that’s your loss.
Bungie released the first footage of the emotes last night via a number of popular Destiny YouTube channels.
Made famous by Alfonso Ribeiro’s character of Carlton Banks on the classic 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the Carlton dance is is probably the single greatest microtransaction in video game history. Just like other Microtransactions, the more you purchase the more you “save”. As a bit of an incentive to check out the new microtransaction vendor, Bungie will be granting each player a small amount of Silver to buy something new.
You can purchase the emotes from Destiny’s new micro-transaction store, which uses the new currency of Silver.
How much will you be paying for Silver?
To whet your whistle, Bungie will be doling out a free Silver drop for Destiny players later today.
Once Destiny is back up and running and you’ve installed update 2.0.1, the paid emotes will go live, the Shot Package will be removed from all shotguns, and you’ll be able to participate in the revamped Iron Banner.
