Here’s five minutes of Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps gameplay
News on the next numbered entry in Capcom‘s long-running horror franchise may be coming soon. Another neat Resident Evil touch is opening shutters, something you do gradually.
In terms of HD remasters of Resident Evil 2, 3 and Outbreak, Mr. Kawata says that they would like to respond to as much fan demand as they want.
It’s been three years since the release of Resident Evil 6 and so far Capcom hasn’t announced Resident Evil 7, instead launching a host of spin-offs and remasters. The game has never been officially confirmed, but it is nearly certainly happening. Of course, one of the questions asked was about the inevitable Resident Evil 7.
The company has mentioned the possibility of a full-blown sequel before, and now producer Masachika Kawata has hinted that it could return to its horror roots.
Check out the gameplay footage below along with a live-action trailer that was shot at Universal Studios Japan and let us know what you think about it.
Though not much was revealed by either producer, it gives fans a glimpse into the fate of Resident Evil 7 and other titles from Capcom.
While competitive shooters are massively popular amongst gamers, Umbrella Corps bears little resemblance to the original Resident Evil titles that started it all.
