Here’s how you could attend Microsoft’s Xbox FanFest at Gamescom 2015
Sea of Thieves and Recore, two games that debuted at E3 2015, will not be making an appearance at Gamescom this year.
Windows Central will be attending Gamescom 2015 and we will have first-hand reports of all the big Xbox One announcements and game demos from the show.
The first-person multiplayer Sea of Thieves comes from the studio RARE. Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed this over Twitter, explaining that the short time period between E3 and Gamescom was to blame.
ReCore is about Joule, the main heroine of the game, and her survival. He stated: “Another demo so close to E3 is just tough on production”.
A new screenshot was see floating around the web claiming to be from the leaked lineup for Games with Gold in August 2015.
This will also give the teams working on the two games much more time on their projects.
Considering how far off these games are from final release, and the fact that we got a decent look at each, albeit via a CG trailer in Recore’s case, this does certainly make sense. While Microsoft will be at the show, a number of Xbox One titles will be skipping the convention. We will be treated to Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound as well as anything else new though, so I can’t imagine the conference will be wanting for content.
