Here’s the news that all Radiohead fans have been waiting for
Drummer Phil Selway recently claimed the band are back in the studio and hope to have something mix-worthy “by fall” and last month composer and Radiohead collaborator Robert Ziegler shared several in-studio photos of the band recording with an orchestra.
Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead perform live on stage at Sydney Entertainment Centre on November 12, 2012 in Sydney, Australia.
“We have finished recording of the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we’ve done…”
During the interview an overenthusiastic translator seemed to pick up that Radiohead’s new album is complete, and that a tour is to be planned.
The band has finished recording their as-yet untitled release, but they’ve still to go through all their material – not that the rumour mill is going insane or anything.
Radiohead have spent much of 2015 working on their long-awaited ninth studio album, which they’ve been working on in the studio since late 2014.
If it indeed materializes, this will reportedly be the band’s first album since their 2011 “The King of Limbs” release.
There has been a lot of talk surrounding the new Radiohead album, and now, Jonny Greenwood has offered yet another status update.
