Hopefully New Hampshire should give Bernie Sanders the momentum he needs to take him to the end.

A relaxed and confident former secretary of state answered questions from voters after clinching the narrowest win in Iowa caucus history with 49.8 percent compared to 49.6 percent for Sanders.

The right-wing establishment party went on to say the reason for Sanders’ strong showing in Iowa was the result of voters’ distaste for Clinton’s “hypocrisy and scandals”.

“This is really hard to follow because when we said we would do the debate, they came back with conditions”, Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer earlier Tuesday.

“Some of these polls are off the charts”, Sanders said.

Clinton is trying to cast Sanders as a rival with deep ties to the famously independent-minded state, someone whose win here is nearly a foregone conclusion.

Clinton acknowledged after Iowa that she has “some work” ahead to appeal to young and first-time voters whom Sanders has been able to rally.

Clinton will continue to tout policy proposals – she has rolled out more than two dozen of them on everything from repairing roads to combating the Islamic State terrorist group – but try to drill down more on a message.

She added that she would do “everything” she can to earn their support.

Noting that political pundits have questioned whether campaigning in New Hampshire is a good use of her time, Clinton said: “I could not ever skip New Hampshire”.
