New Trailer For Quentin Tarantino’s New Movie “The Hateful Eight” released
The first trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “The Hateful Eight” has been released online.
As the trailer rolls on, chaos, violence, and intrigue ensue, as any Tarantino fan could predicted, and we find out that Ruth’s goal of bringing his charge to justice won’t be as simple as he planned – it rarely is in the cinematic world of the wild west. In it, a group of bounty hunters become embroiled in a risky game of deception as they wait out a blizzard, inside a cramped cabin.
Missing from the trailer is the director’s usual blood and gore, which are expected to make their appearance in the main film when the movie opens in theaters by Christmas this year.
What’s grabbing everyone’s attention, though, is The Hateful Eight’s stunning vistas, which were captured with the 70mm format in mind.
Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight features some of the director’s regular stars including Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, and Michael Madsen. The film will expand to standard cinema screens on January 8.
In The Hateful Eight, set shortly after the American Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. Jackson asks, as an injection of groovy music rolls in (it is Tarantino, after all), and we discover that Russell’s character, Jon “The Hangman” Ruth, is a bounty hunter, hauling Jennifer Jason Leigh’s Daisy Domergue in for a hanging. Bob (Bichir), who’s taking care of Minnie’s while she’s visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all…
