Here’s When Oculus Rift Preorders Open

The Oculus Touch controller was supposed to be released alongside with the Oculus Rift virtual headset, but it seems the controller has received a slight delay and it will not be released in Q1 2016, as previously planned.
Pre-orders for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset will open on Oculus.com at 8am Pacific Time on January 6, Oculus has announced. That changed, back in August, when the Oculus team unveiled the Touch; a new VR-ready take on the traditional game pad. In relation, Oculus VR is also running additional pre-production trials, which also mean that developers that need the technology will be able to get more Touch hardware. The tech firm also revealed that it should start launching the pre-order period for the VR technology device soon. They are wireless and will feature joystick, buttons, and two triggers for grabbing and shooting. According to reports, the pre-orders of Oculus Touch controller will be shipped in the second half of 2016.
