Hero Successfully Shuts Down Anti-Gay Preacher with Bagpipes

A young man in Scotland has become an internet phenomena after completely drowning out a man spouting gay hate by blaring Scotland The courageous on bagpipes.

A homophobic preacher was passionately delivering an anti-gay speech on Market Street in the Scottish town of St. Andrews when someone else intervened and absolutely stole the show.

Locals said it was hard to discern his exact message, but his tone was aggressive.

The video was posted to Overheard in St. Andrews by Lachie Blair and uploaded to YouTube on Saturday.

Less than 24 hours after the footage was posted online it had clocked up more than 2.4 million hits.

A member of the public had already reported him to the police and at the end of the video a police van pulls up and an officer talks to him.

Preacher was yelling scripture while condemning everyone and people literally just ignored him, ‘ one commenter wrote on Facebook.

Boyle had been on his way home with his father Matthew when they heard customers at the keys Bar complaining about the activist.

Lachie Blair, who filmed the impromptu bagpipe concert, said Daniel had tackled the hater preacher in the “most Scottish way possible”.

Police arrived at the scene and no arrests were made, according to authorities.
