Hillary and Bernie Supporters in Their Own Words
The state’s Democratic chairwoman, Andy McGuire, said earlier this week that an audit would not be performed and that Clinton’s win was assured.
Sanders has a big lead in New Hampshire polls, but he was eager to lower expectations for his finish there, casting himself as an underdog.
Speaking to more than 6,000 Democrats and activists who attended the the McIntrye-Shaheen 100 Club Celebration dinner at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, the former secretary of state pledged to fight for their support.
What’s more, with a huge following among younger voters and progressives, the 74-year-old Sanders enjoys the highest favorability rating among the top tier candidates in either party, 44 percent to 35 percent, while Clinton and Trump are saddled with the highest negative ratings. Though it was a bit of a brawl – former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton bashed Vermont Sen. Later that day at a canvassing kickoff, Clinton did not shy away from talking about Sanders, whom she trails by 9 percent in a new Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll.
Meanwhile, Sanders called on New Hampshire voters to join his “political revolution”, saying it’s the only way America can achieve the change that working families and the middle class desire.

Bernie Sanders has a 2-to-1 edge in the latest CNN/WMUR New Hampshire tracking poll, but the Vermont senator believes Tuesday’s primary will be a close one.
Donald Trump still leads the polls, but he canceled a campaign swing through the state Friday because of the snowstorm.
“If elected president, no nominee of mine to the Supreme Court will get that position unless he or she is very clear – they will vote to overturn Citizens United”, Sanders said.
In their debate, Clinton and Sanders argued over ideas, over tactics and over who has the liberal credentials to deliver on an agenda of better access to health care, more affordable college, fighting income inequality and more. Most of the candidates have events scheduled for Friday, despite the weather.
“I never sent or received any classified material”, she said.
“Leadership is about standing up and being counted when the times are rough”, said Sanders, “even when you are in a minority situation”.
