Hillary Clinton, Carly Fiorina on Planned Parenthood
But none of them – with the possible exceptions of former First Lady Hillary Clinton and long-time congressional leader John Kasich – understands how impotent our political leaders really are. She also expressed the extreme frustration so many conservatives rightly feel in the face of Republican impotence. According to the Times, Boxer said that Fiorina focused on her own well-being rather than her workers while at the tech giant: flying in private planes and purchasing a yacht while she laid off 30,000 employees. “She does not have a track record of accomplishment”.
“Like Mrs. Clinton, I, too, have travels hundreds of thousands of miles around the globe”.
“The SEC investigation proved that neither I nor anyone else in management knew about it”, she said.
After the debate, Walker headed to the spin room and gave reporters the same line several times. On Facebook Friday, Steinem wrote that “if you thought Republicans could find no woman more damaging to the diversity and needs of the female half of this country than Sarah Palin, take a good look at Carly Fiorina and what she stands for”. Rapid reaction resulted in high praise for the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, but not all the news was positive. “What I also know is that Americans are failing to achieve their potential today”.
However, fact checkers like FactCheck.org and The Washington Post have said that there was no such scene included in the videos that were recently released by an anti-abortion group.
Cruz, Christie and Fiorina all alluded to a series of heavily edited videos produced by antiabortion activists that have become a flash point in efforts by congressional Republicans to defund Planned Parenthood.
The businesswoman and star of Wednesday’s GOP debate will be on Mackinac Island Saturday for a Republican conference.
Delivered by any of the male candidates, Fiorina’s pointed attacks on Clinton could come across as domineering to general election voters, but Fiorina has focused on portraying herself as an ally of women. Just as it is in the media’s interest to build her up, once Ms Fiorina is viewed as front-runner, the next step will be to see if we can tear her down.
Trump’s follow-up? “I think you are a lovely woman”. This has and will continue to bring her much success. So, it goes to say if women are the majority vote, we need to look past gender and elect an official that will best address the issues pertinent to our lives.
During last week’s Republican presidential debate, Fiorina had claimed that she saw undercover videos from a Planned Parenthood that showed “a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain”. I don’t think it helps to change our history. Bush was so eager to share his story that he leaped in, saying, “I wanted to make it easier for him and I just did”.
