Hillary Clinton focuses on domestic issues in Boulder
In the 18 months prior to announcing her second campaign for president, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination addressed private equity investors in California and NY, delivered remarks to bankers in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and spoke to brokers at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida. She supports Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and says she will maintain a good relationship with him and Israel.
BOULDER -Hillary Clinton focused on domestic issue in her 45-minute speech here as she pushed for more renewable energy development and the repeal of subsidies for the oil and gas industry.
News of her visit circulated through an email invite to supporters.
Clinton would like to work with law enforcement in her proposals – including they carry an antidote for overdose. “He has been dealing in prejudice and paranoia, and that is bad for our politics and our country”, Clinton said. Bernie Sanders’s campaign says that more women have given money to the Vermont senator’s insurgent campaign. One person wanted to know what she liked to eat “beside tacos”.
Clinton said she will crack down on tax codes and said she will not let anyone raise taxes on the middle class.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks about her approach to defeating the Islamic State terrorist network in Syria, Iraq and across the Middle East at the Council on Foreign Relations on Thursday in New York City. Participants also wanted to know about everything from her plans on immigration reform and raising wages for working families, to whether she would legalize pot and what she’s doing for Thanksgiving. The Washington Post recently reported during Bill Clinton’s tenure as Governor of Arkansas, teacher unions hated the Clintons after they supported an education bill in Arkansas staunchly opposed by teacher unions, despite the generous campaign contributions and support given to Bill Clinton in his initial election to Congress in 1974.
She said later at a rally at a Reno middle school that “these terrorists are killers, they’re thugs, they’re criminals”.
“That to me has got to be priority one”, she said. “I don’t care how tall the wall is or how big the door is, that is never going to happen”. An even stronger number, 92%, said that about Sanders.
Her proposals also don’t do much to win some who feel the better choice for the industry will be found among the GOP’s candidates. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush faced blowback in August for repeatedly using the term “anchor baby”, a slur used to describe children born in the United States to undocumented immigrants.
She said she would like to take a broader view and see what’s in the best interest of those raising the issues. “It’s this progressive nonsense”.
