Hillary Clinton rallies Democrats in Boulder, Colorado

Her backers in the financial industry say they have little expectation her family’s personal profits will influence her policymaking, noting their own opposition to her plan to raise taxes on hedge fund and private equity gains known as carried interest.
“I go after not just the banks”, Clinton told Democrats in North Charleston, South Carolina, on Saturday.
Vargas noted in conversation on Facebook that Clinton used the phrase “illegal immigrants” while discussing immigration reform during a recent campaign stop, and called the term “offensive”.
Clinton also took on Republican front-runner Donald Trump in the largely immigration-focused chat, telling a questioner that the businessman has “been trafficking in prejudice and paranoia and it’s bad for our politics and bad for our country”.
Clinton said she couldn’t say what priority her administration would give to that effort but that, she supports states and cities getting their fair share.
“I’m so happy you all could come”, Clinton said after posing for a photo with the group who had traveled from Arkansas to be there.
When Republican Rep. Mark Amodei visited Gardnerville a few weeks ago he said that Western states were overlooked, especially by presidents and presidential candidates. “It’s clear they believe she will take action as president to crack down on the industry’s abuses”. Trump has also suggested compelling all Muslims in America to register for a national database.
Her Facebook page has no mention of the Colorado events Tuesday, but it does have 38 custom state T-shirts that say a variation of, “Nebraskans for Hillary”.
Clinton spoke at the Boulder Theatre in downtown Boulder and will travel later in the day to Denver for a 3:15 p.m. event at Manual High School.
Freeman also faulted Clinton for apparently lacking any awareness of the need to involve other regional states in her plan to fight the Islamic State. “Bernie Sanders. She hasn’t stretched her lead, but it hasn’t shrunk, either”, said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
“If 33,000 people were dying every year from something else, we’d surely do something about it”, Clinton said of USA shooting deaths at a Denver rally.

Clinton nabbed another endorsement from a major labor union this week.
