Hillary Clinton takes commanding double-digit lead over Donald Trump
Some Republican lawmakers are doing as she demands – but not all of them in the way she hoped.
Trump referred to that call in his tweet Tuesday morning.
Hillary Clinton focused on Trump’s abusive statements regarding Muslims and Mexican immigrants, saying that the US was founded on immigrants and the freedom of religion.
Trump posted a statement about the union’s endorsement on his campaign website September 26.
Also back on board after calling on Trump to resign: Sen. Scott Garrett of New Jersey and Bradley Byrne of Alabama. She hasn’t lumped all Republicans in with Trump, and often talks about wanting to the president for all Americans, including those who don’t support her.

This strategy is also politically risky for the Trump campaign, threatening to further erode the low support he already has with women.
So in the final stretch of the campaign Mrs Clinton has sustained a modest lead, though one that is still not comfortable enough for many Democrats. The new data incorporate interviews that were conducted after Sunday night’s debate. That survey found Trump was ahead by two points, 43 percent to 41 percent.
Clinton’s message resonated with many pueblo residents.
Among Republicans, 58 percent said they want Trump to remain atop their party’s ticket, and 68 percent said the Republican leadership should stand by him.
Fringe conservative websites have long promoted the conspiracy theory that Clinton is hiding a serious illness – with Breitbart News, a strongly pro-Trump website with ties to the racist alt-right movement, leading the way. Another 30% said they didn’t know.
“Monday’s survey was the first following the release of an 11-year-old video showing Trump discussing women in graphic sexual detail but did not include any polling results taken after the debate”, Rasmussen notes.
Shortly before, he decried Mr Ryan as a “weak and inneffective leader” and complained of the difficulty in running his campaign with little support from his party. Meanwhile, the head of the Republican National Committee, Reince Priebus (ryns PREE’-bus), said he’s in full coordination with the embattled presidential nominee.
“I am exhausted of all the divisions and the barriers”, she said at a rally at the state fairgrounds in Pueblo.
