Hillary Clinton talks email scandal, Trump on ‘Tonight Show’

Fallon, wearing a dark suit and Trump-like toupee, told Clinton they haven’t seen each other since his “last wedding”.

Hillary Clinton appeared on “The Tonight Show” Wednesday evening with one goal in mind – trolling Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

“Look, I said I have taken responsibility”, Clinton said. He asked Clinton about her position on women’s issues, quoting Clinton recently saying Trump “insults” and “dismisses” women. “I wouldn’t mess with you“, he said. “That’s what I’m fighting for”, Clinton said, asking faux Trump about his stance on women’s rights. Bernie Sanders, may be feeling the pressure to get her message out to a broader portion of the electorate and steal back some of the thunder from her rivals. Trump is a wealthy businessman and former reality TV star.

But Clinton, who has tended to steer clear of talking about Trump, found herself facing more questions about him, in particular the bizarre issue of his hair. Clinton asked, referring to Trump’s famous hair. “If you’d tell us what’s in the emails, we’ll get over it!”

Trump, however, did not disappear when Clinton sat down with Fallon for a proper interview.

“You want to touch mine?”

“Clinton veered into automated, overly general campaign spiel territory a couple of times, as politicians tend to do, throwing out phrases like “you want to help people… but there are problems in the world”. Now, Clinton has proved once and for all that she has both.

On Friday, the real Trump made his late-night debut on The Tonight Show after announcing his run for presidential office in June.

When Fallon mentioned it was his daughter’s first day of pre-school, Clinton gasped, “Oh my gosh”.

He did an excellent job of tightly capturing Trump’s core traits, which either means Fallon has been paying really close attention to these debates or Trump is a pretty one-dimensional guy.

The two then dance out of the bit, with Clinton mostly just bobbing her shoulders to OMI’s “Cheerleader”.

Fallon praised Clinton, at one point calling her “tough mother” and then, when acknowledging his poor delivery, “you’re like if Ronda Rousey shopped at Ann Taylor Loft”.
