Hillary Clinton Turns Over Email Server
Imagine that. The woman who deleted tens-of-thousands of emails she deemed “personal” before leaving the State Department has wiped her server clean before the FBI was able to get their hands on it. Not a smidgen of corruption, I’m sure.
Bush was careful not to directly equate Clinton with the actions of Manning and Snowden, but he forcefully argued that he felt Clinton was being reckless with state information while she led the State Department.
“While Hillary Clinton clearly believes she is above the law, the Obama Administration has proven it has no interest in enforcing the law”, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum said, adding that America is getting a reminder of what a Clinton presidency would look like. “She knows he did something useful not right and most definitely has be emptied of methods to include it up”.
There is no evidence she used encryption to shield the emails or her personal server from foreign intelligence services or other potentially prying eyes.
Senior Republican Reince Priebus said Clinton had “run out of options” in the face of FBI scrutiny. Palmieri stressed that Clinton is not facing a criminal investigation and said she remains “committed to cooperating” with federal investigations into her private account. “Secretary Clinton’s previous statements that she possessed no classified information were patently untrue”, Boehner told NBC.
The 720-word email, designed to calm the anxiety of supporters while the Justice Department investigates Clinton’s mishandling of sensitive information as secretary of state, came just a day after the presidential hopeful turned over her server and a thumb-drive of emails to the FBI. So far, the State Department has published 3,600 of 30,000 of her emails, many of them heavily redacted.
She has repeatedly denied she used her personal email account for classified material. Grassley said the inspector general of the nation’s intelligence community had reported the new details about the higher classification to Congress on Tuesday.
Just days after holding a fundraising event at the home of Scooter Braun – Justin Bieber’s manager – where Hillary posed up for selfies with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, the wannabe President also insisted she is now working with the DOJ and is looking forward to her emails being released to the public.
Several State Department officials, and at least two outside Clinton allies, sent or received emails which contained information that has been retroactively classified.
None of the classified emails has been released publicly.
The memo to top lawmakers on several committees responds to inquiries about a July memo from McCullough about a limited review that turned up classified information in four emails, although they did not have classification markings or “dissemination controls” at the time.
Inspectors general of the intelligence community and the State Department requested the FBI review the security handling of the Clinton emails after uncovering that some emails stored on the private server contained classified information, including some now considered top secret.
