Hillary Clinton Tweets ‘Delete Your Account’ to Donald Trump
As the Economist/YouGov polling shows, Sanders’s voters who say they refuse to vote for Clinton still overwhelmingly support Obama, Warren, and Vice President Joe Biden.
Democratic leaders and pundits have reportedly urged Sanders to stop campaigning and instead back Clinton.
Speaking about Obama’s endorsement of Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid on Thursday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said he saw parallels between 2008 and this year.

“Every person here and every person in this country”, Sanders said, “should be embarrassed by the fact that we have more people in jail than anyone else on earth”. And Rep. Raul Grijalva, a Sanders backer from Arizona, suggested the time to rally behind Clinton would come after the D.C. primary.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is among the latest Democrats to formally endorse Hillary Clinton for president. He said after the meeting that he would do everything in his power to stop Republican Donald Trump from winning, and would work closely with Hillary Clinton to do that.
For diehard Sanders supporters, Clinton – the former first lady, secretary of state and USA senator – is the epitome of a political establishment that has failed the people.
Sanders indicated that while he and Clinton continue to vie to put their stamp on the party, they could unite to defeat a common foe – Trump.
“Donald Trump would clearly, to my mind, and I think to the majority of Americans, be a disaster as president of the United States”, he said. Wolf remains committed to the Vermont Senator’s presidential campaign – and he rejects calls that Sanders should exit the race now.
Sanders afterward struck a conciliatory tone Thursday, saying he plans to meet soon with Clinton to discuss how they can “work together to defeat Donald Trump”.
“These are the issues that we will take to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia at the end of July”, he said, underscoring the political leverage he hopes to wield with Clinton and other party leaders.
The brash response from the Clinton campaign – “Delete your account.” – quickly went viral, getting retweeted 130,000 times in about an hour. Make sure that the Affordable Care Act works, get the cost down, and that includes prescription drug cost, and deal with the problems that I’ve heard so much about on the campaign trail, like mental health and addiction, and criminal justice reform, immigration reform, gun safety measures.
Obama made a point of staying publicly neutral through the sometimes-bitter race, mindful that his involvement could tarnish his standing with parts of his own loyal coalition, namely young people and progressives.
