Hillary Clinton unfriends Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton is taking the opportunity fresh off her Iowa Caucus win – and Donald Trump’s loss – to shoot down any claims that she was ever friends with the businessman.

According to Politico, Clinton’s team is planning to take a page out of Barack Obama’s playbook from 2012, when his campaign savaged Mitt Romney’s business background at Bain Capital, with a “Trump Book” full of dirt on the billionaire’s bankruptcies and their effect on several working-class families.

Before Trump jumped ship from the Democratic party and joined the Republican party, he had nothing but praise for Hillary Clinton and her husband, former president Bill Clinton. In a campaign noted for an unabashed penchant for hurling personal insults at his opponents, Trump’s focus on President Bill Clinton’s infamous affair during his time in the White House isn’t very surprising.

Trump has unloaded on Clinton during the presidential race, accusing her last month of being an “enabler” of her husband’s past infidelity.

“I really care about what he says about other people, who don’t have the voice and the platform”, Clinton said, referring to immigrants and American Muslims.

Despite what Clinton and Trump say now, their relationship has seen better days.

Hillary recently sat down with People and dished about her political and social views – so of course the man once thought to be her biggest rival came up. They’re scared what will happen to them. “We knew each other, obviously, in NY”.

Clinton told People she could handle Trump’s barbs, but anxious about the immigrants and American Muslims he targets. I live in NY. You know, what is he talking about?

“When I needed Hillary, she was there”, he said in July. “I think she really works hard”, Trump told Fox. “My relationship has always been with Ivanka”, Chelsea Clinton said.

Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, also clarified her friendship with Trump’s daughter, Ivanka.
