Hillary Takes To SNL To Tie Up a few Loose Ends
In the skit, which kicked off with Miley Cyrus moaning about the lack of choices in the field at a non-descript bar as a non-descript woman, Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) and her aide, Huma Abedin (played by Cecily Strong), are grabbing a drink and talking strategy.
“Amy’s a friend of mine, and Kate’s doing a great job”, Clinton told CNN in July. One of those guys out there with one of those cameras, just like a leech, leeching on to everything I do’.
“I would like to take a moment to say goodbye to all those who made this summer what is was”.
Clinton even winked at this a bit in the sketch. “And while we will never think of these people ever, ever again, they certainly did this summer their way”, she said, before launching into Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”. I mean, it’s like, can I have anything of just my own? Luckily, Clinton has tackled the prep work in the past. Cyrus recently made headlines with her unusual VMA hosting duties, going through a wide range of weird outfight choices and the overall craziness the young singer has been known for lately.
Poehler and McKinnon aren’t the only two amusing ladies who’ve played Clinton in the past.
Set ’em up, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and lend an ear to the troubles of a presidential candidate. She was depicted by Jan Hooks while her husband, Bill Clinton, was president, and by Ana Gasteyer during her then-run for New York Senate. Well, her past record holds sufficient evidence and so this time we are not sure whether her words were for only fun as she was joking with “SNL” cast member Taran Killam.
Though she is not a stranger to pose nude, as she has repeatedly bared it all but in another promotional draft of “SNL“, making us relieved, the 22-year-old informs what she will wear on the variety series.
