Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson Have Been Dating for How Long?

Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson are a couple.

“I am understood by the person who loves me before I am understood by myself”, the 72-year-old Taylor said of a transformative relationship on the radio show, without revealing the woman she was dating. Taylor appeared on the Death, Sex & Money podcast this week and said, “It’s the most wonderful, extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life”.

However, she indicated that the woman she is dating is young. She went on to say that her partner is a much younger woman, and that the pair are now discussing marriage. The actress explained that she wasn’t a danger to herself, but had trouble leaving her house to do simple things like buy food, and was on antidepressants for over 15 years while receiving very little counseling. “But as they say, ‘If she dies, she dies'”.

She did, however, reveal the two had a significant age difference. Paulson spoke with PrideSource last month and wanted to refrain from putting a “label” on her sexuality as well. After that tragic loss, though, she reassessed her life, and came to the conclusion that she had been “living a very shallow life”. “I don’t let having been with a man make me think I am heterosexual, or make me want to call myself that, because I know I have been attracted to women – and have lived with women”, she said at the time. Paulson had a relationship with 59-year-old actress Cherry Jones for five years, before splitting in 2009.

The good news for Holland Taylor is that she is now in a loving and committed relationship, albeit, her very first one, and she and actress Sarah Paulson have been talking about possible wedding bells in their futures together.
