Hollywood prepares for ‘Star Wars’ premiere
Hollywood is preparing for what could be the largest movie premiere in its history on Monday night when “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is screened for VIP audiences in three separate theaters.
Star Wars fans in Australia failed to spot Harrison Ford walking in to the cinema as they were treated to a ten-minute preview of The Force Awakens yesterday.
“Man, I can’t say anything”, Driver responds when asked about The Force Awakens.
“That feeling of going to the movies and having a fully immersive, powerful, high-quality presentation of the film is something that is more valuable than ever and I think IMAX stands for that”.
When the much-anticipated “Star Wars” film opens next week, little-known British actress Daisy Ridley will undoubtedly become one of the most recognized faces in the world.
Having grumbled his way through the original Star Wars trilogy, famously dismissing George Lucas’s dialogue by telling the director “you can write this s***, but you sure as hell can’t say it”, and begging to have Han Solo killed off, Harrison Ford apparently has found his inner geek. I didn’t worry about it then because I felt like it had very little to do with me. “It’s incredibly amusing but touching and the story obviously is character-led, so there’s all of the fun stuff”, she said.
Ridley is one of the few people who saw the film ahead of its premiere.
