Holy Crap, This Is the Most Awkward Cara Delevingne Interview Ever!
Cara Delevingne has been making the press rounds for her new teen drama, “Paper Towns”, but one morning show appearance took a turn for the worse when the model seemed less than amused by the anchors at “Good Day Sacramento”.
Throughout the interview, Cara avoids eye contact with the camera and frequently offeres sassy remarks to the hosts’ questions.
The American duo were not quite equipped for some good old-fashioned British humour, as Delevingne delivered perfectly sarcastic responses when asked if she had even read John Green’s book on which the movie is based, or shared any similarities with her character. “I kind of winged it”, the 22-year-old quipped.
Cara was then asked if her busy schedule helped her focus on her career, to which she replied: “No, I don’t know where that comes from”. To which she scoffed: “No, I actually hate her”.
This is more than a little awkward! “It’s the morning.” Fair enough, Cara.
As if the interview couldn’t have gotten any worse, the newscasters lash out with the following retort: “We’ll let you go then, how about that?”
Ending the interview early, the CBS presenters told the actress to “have a nap and get a Red Bull” while she looked on in surprise.
Cara Delevingne does whatever the f*** she wants, ok you guys?
But despite the star giving detailed answers to the questions, the anchors decided to cut her off, saying that she’d seemed more “excited” while being interviewed in London. Watch the whole debacle go down here. “It was a very emotional night, felt like the end of an era”, she responded, adding, “But I’m not any less excited than I was a couple of weeks ago”.
