Home Alone’s Wet Bandit responds to Kevin McCallister’s threatening video
Earlier this month, Macaulay Culkin revisited his famous Home Alone role and revealed what Kevin McCallister turned out like after being abandoned by his family at Christmas and threatened repeatedly by a pair of burglars (spoiler: not that great).
In his video, Daniel Stern acknowledges the :DRYVRS webisode starring Macaulay Culkin that imagines grown-up Kevin McCallister as an unhinged Uber driver who has never recovered from his run-in with the Wet Bandits.
Now, Marv – played by Daniel Stern – is back, and his response is equally as chilling as he calls out for Harry to save him from “the kid”.
He’s seen trying to get in touch with partner Harry, as he’s petrified that grown up Kevin is going to come for them.
“Please Harry…I’m Home Alone, and I’m scared!” he concluded. I saw it. I saw on the Internet. But now we get to see what’s happening on the other side of the fence.
Yes, Marv is now home alone and scarred for his life, recalling the pretty brutal things that Kevin McCallister did to the Wet Bandits.
The video ends with an attempted car-jacking – in which we find out that Kevin still has a few nifty tricks up his sleeve when it comes to fighting off the bad guys.
One of the booby traps that left Daniel Stern nursing a real injury was the doggie door scene.
Flashfoward to December 25 – when the holiday classic reruns on TVs everywhere – and Marv has gotten adult Kevin’s message.
Stern posted the video as part of a Reddit AMA that he did on Christmas Eve.
The video then goes black and the viewer hears Marv scream.
Did McCallister get to him?
