SPOTSWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Police have released details of a freakish burglary that occurred earlier this year in New Jersey. When the resident looked under the bed, he found Hubbard and immediately called police.
Brazen Jason Hubbard walked into the property in New Jersey through an open door while the homeowner took out the rubbish, police said.
Hubbard allegedly then put his four phones on charge – and settled down for three days in hiding. The homeowner heard a odd noise coming from the guest room and, to his horror, found the sneaking trespasser.
It still wasn’t clear when Hubbard was planning to make his move to rob the home.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Hubbard was also charged with burglary and theft of services (electric current).
He is being held for ,000 bail at Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center.
