Honda to reveal new Civic Coupe in LA
Honda hasn’t announced powertrain specs for the Civic Coupe, but it’s safe to say we’ll see the same engine options as the sedan.
The debut will come next week for the two-door Civic that Honda claims will “showcase even sportier lines”, according to a press release.
The Civic LX and EX trims will feature by 2.0-liter i-VTEC engine capable of producing 158hp, while the Touring models are powered by 1.5-liter DOHC TURBO engine capable of producing 174-horspower. At present we only know of a Civic Type R hatchback in the works but we’ve got our fingers crossed for more bodystyles.

Honda is set to launch its 2016 Civic Sedan in the United States starting tomorrow, which has been redesigned from ground up.

The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan will reportedly become available very soon.
The Honda Clarity Fuel Cell five-passenger sedan already had its world premiere at last month’s Tokyo Auto Show, but its stint at the LA Auto Show will mark its American debut. Honda promises a range of more than 300 miles (480 km) and a refueling time of approximately three minutes. It will go on sale in the USA next year as the second purpose-built fuel-cell auto offered to the public, competing with the Toyota Mirai.
The Honda booth is located in West Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and will be open to media beginning on November 18, 2015.
