Honey Boo Boo Just Released a Rap Video
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been canceled for almost a year, but former TLC reality star Alana Thompson has already found a new focus for her energies having recently launched her music career with the debut of her new rap video.
The video is just as bad: it was shot in the recording studio and shows the family and Barta trying to make something called “the Honey Boo Boo Bop” happen.
The video features appearances by familiar faces from the Honey Boo Boo tribe, including Mama June, Pumkin and the spunky starlet puts it “all my peeps”.
The 10-year-old is attempting to launch a music career with the help of viral video artist Adam Barta, who also wrote the single.
The “Honey Boo Boo Bop” is an awkward dance move that entails rolling your arms and stepping from side-to-side.
She then gives listeners a quick history of her life as Honey Boo Boo.
The child star has been keeping a low profile since TLC pulled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo off the air a year ago, but that’s set to change with the release of “Movin’ Up“. Alas, the standard writhing backup dancers have been replaced by Mama June, Sugar Bear, and Pumpkin. Also, Sugar Bear’s dancing cameo might just be the best thing you’ve seen all week.
