Honey Boo Boo Releases Debut Music Video, “Movin’ Up!”

Alana Thompson, known as “Honey Boo Boo“, has made a music video for a song she recorded called “Movin’ Up”.

While a few may consider this harsh, the term “cruel and unusual punishment” may not be enough to describe the hot mess that is Honey Boo Boo’s debut music video.

The 10-year-old dropped her first single Movin’ Up on Monday with a music video featuring viral video artist Adam Barta, who also helped to write the song.

And while dashing onto iTunes to download the track might not be top of your priority list, one thing’s for sure, once you’ve got the Honey Boo Boo Bop in your head, it’s hard to get it out!

In “Movin’ Up”, Alana sings about her family and their rise to reality-TV stardom. At the very least, it looks like Thompson is enjoying doing the “Honey Boo Boo bop”. ‘We should see more kids having fun and less of kids twerking and wearing inappropriate clothes.

Honey Boo Boo, who’s real name is Alana Thompson, rose to tv fame as a then 6-year-old beauty pageant contestant on TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras.
