Hong Kong date for Australian pop rockers 5 Seconds of Summer
The biggest breakthrough band of last year, 5 Seconds of Summer, have announced details of a new United Kingdom and Ireland Tour for next year. “The guys” 2014 self-titled album sold more than three million records worldwide.
“Sounds Good Feels Good”, due to be released on October 23rd sees the band collaborate again with rock veteran John Feldmann (producer, All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls) who has executively produced the album.
The Australian pop-punk band will bring its “Sounds Live Feels Live” tour to Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6500 West, West Valley City, on Friday, August 26, 2016. It kicks off in Nagoya on February 16, and apart from the performance at AsiaWorld-Expo on March 10, also includes dates in Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Manila.
The official video for “Hey Everybody”, the band’s new single, premiered today on VEVO and can be viewed HERE.
“She’s Kinda Hot”, which won Song of the Summer honors at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, topped the iTunes charts in 44 countries and was a Top 15 hit at Top 40 radio. It was a big moment for us – our first ever headline tour, it is what you dream of.
Which was a move that shocked many – not least 5SOS – because 5 Seconds of Summer have a very different sound to that of One Direction, but when it was revealed that One Direction are financially backing 5SOS, it was a case of mystery solved Nancy Drew.
