At Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, Obama spoke of progress in reducing waiting times for veterans and a plummeting unemployment rate among vets.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden hosted a Veterans Day lunch for military connected women at the Vice President’s residence after the President’s remarks. The bronze and granite statue is expected to be finished by May.
